The Wall Street Plaza recently started promoting Rum FEST IV: Surrender the Booty.  Beginning at 6 PM on Friday, October 18, partygoers are encouraged to consume all the rum (and booty) they can handle.  Promoters for the event expect to draw a larger crowd than all three previous years combined!

No word on drink specials or live performers but tix are on sale here.

Werd on the Cartz, Installment #1

Today at the State of Downtown Orlando, Mayor Buddy Dyer assured attendees that the movie tix in their goodie bags would be accepted at the Plaza Orlando Movie Theatre box office.  Hmm... Does that mean it's actually going to be finished?  We located the floor plan for the theatre here: http://www.plazaorlando.com

Let's hope that finally after the dreams, bad loans, and erected mid-rises, a complete investment and development materializes.

Cartz Shotz

Damn that Flux Capacitor

So I was dorking around with the Flux Capacitor on one of the Ocartz and the next time I hit the accelerator, I was transported to the 1930s. (Note to self: do not use chewed Trident to attach battery cable to Flux Capacitor).

Anyway, these decked out hunnies are posing in front of my Ocart. Seems that time travel affected it in a good way.




The reason for the fancy duds was a party, specifically Nancy's Birthday Party at Club Sugar Rays (at the Beacon). There were some funky hats and pin stripe suits floating around. And I heard Al Capone got drunk, barreled into the women's room and threw up in the sink. But that might just be a rumor.
